Safe Harbor Humane Society

During each year we take in over 4000 dogs and cats. All of these homeless animals need special attention and love. Most of them here had owners who did not care for them properly and as a result they are homeless, neglected and abandoned. Over 60% of the 4000 + animals we received last year were turned in by their owners. The other 40% came to us because they were lost. Those owners did not license or put any type of identification on them.
Do you have the experience, patience and resources to stick with an animal that may have problems due to a difficult background or simple adolescence? If so then you are what our sweet animals are waiting for. Please see our cyber kennel for animals that are currently up for adoption.
